cold grey clouds migrate as i pour another cup of hot black coffee
we cling to the past even though last month’s snowfall has melted away
it’s our home, yet still we need to be reminded to show some respect
lightning and thunder announce the day in a way like nothing else can
it’s unnatural but our brains still try to make order from chaos
to feel the power of nature is to connect with all living things
what will happen does nature allows this; man would try to improve it
if we ate the peal we would say that the orange was inedible
the city rolls past the windows, fogged, work to paint a dreamy landscape
no one would object if we stayed cozy at home on this dreary day
