sometimes people need to lash out against something rather than confront
some heed the warning some proceed with caution; some take it as a dare
the aging process brings with it slow decay and doesn’t make a sound
in an argument or when composing a picture the framing is key
we barely notice but our ancestors saw a sky full of fire
it seems arrogant but sometimes the boldest one shows others the way
keeping it all in requires a level of strength we are not built for
very few events that we say are accidents actually are
we often assume that things found together are somehow related
even though we think we can defy gravity we know we cannot
